Science Standard 1 (i)-Physical Setting, Key Ideas 1; Indicator a: Students will explain daily, monthly, and seasonal changes on earth
ELA Standards:
ELA Standard 1 (i)-Speaking and Writing, Key Ideas 2; Indicator f: Students will use standard English for formal presentation of information, selecting appropriate grammatical constructions and vocabulary, using a variety of sentence structures, and observing the rules of punctuation, capitalization, and spelling.
ELA Standard 3 (i)-Speaking and Writing, Key Ideas 2; Indicator b: Students will develop arguments with effective use of details and evidence that reflect a coherent set of criteria.
ELA Standard 3 (i)-Speaking and Writing, Key Idea 2; Indicator a: Students will express opinions (in such forms as oral and written reviews, letters to the editor, essays, or persuasive speeches) about events, books, issues, and experiences supporting their opinions with some evidence.
